Birth of the Third Stream/Various Artist
In “Hydrophytes,” industrial designer Nicole Hone imagines a future in which we’ve designed aquatic plants to counter some of the effects of climate change. To create her plants, Hone designed them with digital tools, then printed them with multi-material 3D printers. Their movements are brought to life with pneumatic pumps that fill and collapse them in response to external interactions. The motion and character of these imagined plants is astounding; they truly seem to be alive. It’s an incredible intersection of science, art, and technology. Check out the full film below. I see her (her body is magnifique!),but at the same time I’m like,“Yeah I see you.” I think that she is on some slick shit but she ain’t as slick as she thinks she is.
A sexy beauty … is it normal to get excited by a plate?!

Hand thrown “Agata” black/white porcelain, milky silky glaze, 1300*C oxidation firingIn this technique 2 (or more) different colored clays are roughly/barely mixed together then throwed on the pottery wheel. This creates an unusual surface decoration similar to agata stone or arabesque marble.
.
In the picture this mix is porcelain and dark lava stoneware.

Hope you like it.
